An experienced team of versatile specialists
eQTeam was founded in 20011) and is active in the areas of Information & Data Management and e-Business. Nowadays, both areas are rather comprehensive and could be subdivided into subareas like Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data, Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer.
We are also very experienced in open-source implementations and tailoring these to a company's needs. Both as developing and steering party. Well suited IT solutions should preferably be built by using free, open source software, instead of using proprietary software and being locked-in2) by IT vendors.
The leaders of eQTeam are trained academics having over 20 years of working experience. We are very attached to the areas we work in, and feel involved with our customer's businesses and IT challenges. For this reason, we are not only very knowledgeable IT professionals, but also very conscious and committed when doing projects. IT projects do not need to fail when dealt with the right way, and when sufficient attention is spent to expectation management of all stakeholders and especially project sponsors.

Above men have won their spurs.
As Strategic IT Manager, John Geerlings is responsible for all technical issues. Having earned a master degree in Information Science he knows that when the term Information Technology is being used, information is followed by technology, and not the other way around. Just like form should follow function3).
Erik Stoppels has much experience with business processes in many different companies. As Stategic BPM Manager he focuses on analyzing and redefining business processes. In order to transition to a new IT system successfully, the pertaining business processes should at least be considered for change.
eQTeam is lean and mean, works efficiently and cost conscious. We dispose of a pool of well trained and experienced professionals whom we like to collaborate with. However, much of the work we do ourselves, always keeping its technical control.
Being experienced managers we are capable of selecting the right people for the right projects. We can scale up teams from 2 to 5 to 20 people in a short period of time. For this, we use social media like no one else can.
Many projects we execute with the help of employees working at our customer's site. Why should we do something ourselves, when employees can do the same by following our guidance. By doing so, we obtain good results on a smaller budget. Having customer employees do part of the work, we also ensure that obtained knowledge stays on the work floor when the project finishes. Many of our competitors overlook that knowledge transfer to the standing organization is crucial for a successful IT implementation.
